As usual, I haven’t been able to write new posts. For the past 30 days, I’ve been on unpaid leaves and half of it is a mandatory leave. Also, I’ve been trying to build a business.
Despite being a stay-at-home mom for a month, I wasn’t still able to commit on my calendar in sending a new post on my blog.
I’ve been busy doing house chores and playing with my kids. I would definitely miss it once I am back to work.
Aside from that, I’ve been busy in building an online business so I can keep up staying at home instead. I have mentioned in my last post that I would like to enter freelancing. So as part of it, I built a website which represents Mielygraphy as a one person company.
My goal is to accept projects in building simple websites, online shops, and content writing. As for starters like me, I have to do thousands of research on how to execute my plans.
Reading from how-to articles, sample portfolios, sample websites, pricing and packages to offer and even the tools to use in project management. Information overload is real.
The most challenging part is that I can’t get much time in focusing on because I have to deal with the kids and all the mom-at-home duties. People here are like “what the heck are you doing in front of your laptop?”. “You’ve been sitting there for hours already!!?”.
And then when the kids are finally sleeping. I’m tired already. My brain is no longer working.
Anyway, despite the challenges, I am still happy to continue.
Here’s what to expect in the upcoming weeks:
- I’ll be posting 4 reviews on some places that we’ve visited in our hometown. They are new branches that were opened just this year.
- Updates on the business I am trying to build
- and how my holiday would be LOL.
My husband and the kids are away from me right now. To be honest I am super lonely and there are moments that I can’t stop thinking about them.
I wish I could join them to Zambales the but I’ll be back to work 5 days from now. Also, I have to focus on my transition process. The transition from a regular employee to self-employment. This is for us anyway. At least being self-employed can give me more time to spend with them. I have to resist my emotions right now and get things done.
I’ll share everything in this blog on how it is going. Hopefully, everyone can join me in this journey. If your interested to be part of what I’m doing now (the business thing), you can just let me know.
